Premium Pink Velvet Durag

Our premium Pink Velvet durags are produced by a waver for wavers. All of our velvet durags are soft AF. If you're going to cover your head with any fabric for 6-8 hours every day, it might as well be a velvet durag.

All of our durags have extra-long strings that make this durag easier to wrap around all sized heads. We have over 100+ 5 star Google reviews from the waver community. If you read our Google reviews then you have seen that nearly 70% of the reviews talk about our high quality of fabrics used in all of our durags.

End of the day a waver wants comfort and style when it comes to what they want to wrap around their waves. Keep your 360 waves spinning !!! Follow our Instagram duragwavey for more info.

How To Get 360 Waves?

  1. First comes first. Start fresh with a low Caesar haircut. Tell your barber to give you a level-1 trim.
  1. Step up your brush game. Your right arm is going to look like Popeyes arm after all of your brush sessions. Set your alarm clock and put in an hour a day of brush sessions. Start with a softer brush to use during your low cut moments, and transition to a harder brush once it gets longer. Add one of the medium brushes in your cart to start off and brush for 30 minutes to an hour a day.
  1. A lot of people skip this step. When you're training your hair to lay down and form a 360 wave pattern, you want to make sure that you are feeding and nourishing your scalp. Most old school wavers use to use pomades—but most pomades feature a common ingredient known as petroleum, amongst other chemicals. While the petroleum does help keep your hair in place, it has been known to clog pores and stunt growth. So you want to find a more natural moisturizer that still has a hold. Try products like WaveBuilder Natural Wave Pomade, and Shea Moisture Three Butters Styling Pomade. Last thing: Make sure you don’t over-grease your hair by loading it up with too much moisturizer you should only apply a quarter-sized amount in your hand. Only apply moisturizer once or twice a week, maximum 3 times, depending on how dry your hair gets.
  1. Take vitamins. Taking care of hair goes further than just applying products. A good tip for good healthy hair is to take Biotin vitamins. Multivitamins and Biotin vitamins can be purchased at a local pharmacy. Biotin is known for making hair thicker and healthier.

How Often To Wash Your 360 Waves?

One of the most popular questions that we receive is… How often do you wash your 360 waves?

Yes, you gotta wash those waves but make sure you’re not washing your hair too often because shampoos wash out the essentials oils your body creates. We recommend that you cut your washing cycle down to once a week. You also want to make sure you are using a conditioner. Or opt for a co-wash. Co-washing is washing your hair solely with a conditioner. It helps remove the dirt and grime without totally stripping it of the essential oils that keep your hair healthy, strong, and shiny. Always moisturize immediately after washing. DW Pro-tip:   Brush your hair in the shower when it's softest and easiest to tame.
